ONE EASY WAY TO ADD GREEN VEGETABLES TO YOUR DIET

Health, the desire to experience life to the fullest, with the willingness to act, to exercise and to move, from these intersecting goals that connect to your energy level. Lack of life energy on a daily basis manifests itself in the first place with the lack of a strong will. Once again if you eat scrap from a scrap yard, food that does not feed, it does not give you energy. And the circle closes. You do not have a strong will to eat ‘less tasty’ foods, you are not dependent on organic, raw food.

And you do not have a strong will to run, sweat out scraps, to drink 6 daily glasses of water, to recharge with energy and paradoxically you do not have a strong will, because your low and poor energy drops.

At one time in the past there was a goal of reaching 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Nowadays, 6-8 recommended portions of vegetables and fruits a day is a difficult goal for many people because people do not like vegetables and fruits. They like buns, lettuce with, croutons and sauces. People love sauces! Sauces love to stick people chins, moustaches, ties and arteries.

It turns out, however, that when you lose your life energy, you can help yourself quickly with stress-free vegetable juices and green shakes. They are nutritious, purifying, and great irrigation for any occasion.

Start your juice adventure with vegetables that are easy to digest and well tolerated by you.

For example:

  • Celery – strong aphrodisiac
  • Fennel
  • Cucumber

Juices, whether the shakes from these vegetables, are excellent, but not as rich in nutritional values as juices from dark green leafy vegetables. You can start adding other vegetables to them, only when you get used to these in a few days, as some may have a bland taste.

You can now add more sophistication with these vegetables:

  • Kale (bitter and rugged in a shakes)
  • Romaine lettuce (specific)
  • Endive (bitter)
  • Spinach (adds smoothness into the shake)

Then there comes the time for herbs. When you feel ready for flavoured experiments, you will gain valuable nutrients, adding herbs to juices.

  • parsley (intense, very interesting; also aphrodisiac)
  • coriander (not everyone is able to endure the taste of soaps)
  • dandelion (evidently bitter)
  • lovage (tastes the magic sauce from childhood)

Be careful, you may find that you do not tolerate any of the new ingredients. To prevent stomach problems, start with small portions.

The bitter taste of vegetables can be balanced with lime or lemon juice.

When buying salads, pay attention that they do not have cut stems, then they quickly lose valuable nutrients.

If you want your juices or shakes to be tastier, you can add…

  • lemon or lime (for a litre of juice, or a shake, add juice from half a lemon or lime)
  • cranberry (for 1/2 litre of juice you can add about 100 g cranberry, helping to avoid urinary tract infections, it has 5x more antioxidants than broccoli and acidifies urine pH)
  • fresh ginger (may add a „taste kick“ if you like the focus and it is a strong aphrodisiac)

Drink juices and shakes as soon as possible after preparation.

When juicing or mixing shakes directly before eating is not possible because you want to drink it at your work, take a glass bottle and fill it with your tasty juice! With longer times for cures of healing green vegetable juices and shakes, however, it will be good to mix juices or shakes with fat, (the sky will not fall 😉 ) such as hemp protein or freshly ground flax.

Start small and aim to add at least one extra serving of leafy greens to your diet each day. Your health, your libido and maybe your waist, will thank you for it.
