HOT SPAGHETTI

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

Hippocrates

He knew many years ago how important  good quality food was and their potential to reduce the risk of specific illnesses. Scientists are proving this theory too – food definitely can help to improve your health and prevent the risk of some illnesses such as cancer, diabetes or depression. No matter what eating style you follow, if it’s based on unprocessed foods, colourful plants, and little added sugar, you’re likely to be healthier and live longer.

There are some soul comforting meals that almost everybody loves. One of them is spaghetti with tomato sauce. It’s not only very delicious, but also can be very healthy! Let’s cook it together today!

Why is this spaghetti soo sexy?

Because it based on tomatoes and chilli. Two powerful aphrodisiacs.

  • A ripe, soft to the touch tomato, has some sensual secrets to share with you. The succulence of the tomato’s flesh makes it a great love fruit, rich in vitamins that contribute to a healthy prostate. Tomatoes are a beneficial food also for many other reasons. Chief among them being their high lycopene content when they are cooked. Lycopene is well-known as a powerful antioxidant that decreases your risk of bone loss, cancer, stroke and even sunburn.
  • Chili from the other hand makes your heart race, your body heat up and your endorphin levels really high… Why is chili so healthy and hot?  It’s filled with protein and fibre. Beans have lots of iron. Chilies can help you lose weight. The ingredients in chili can reduce sugar and fat cravings. It boosts your immune system. It can help to regulate your blood sugar.

If you like a little bit of a spicy taste on your plate, you must try this recipe! And what could be more romantic than a homemade pasta dinner for two?

Your Lover

When I was cooking this spaghetti for you, I got inspired and wrote a poem:

Love Experience

You left the sweetest taste in my mouth

You are my silver lining this cold month

You love so fiercely

Make me feel me so intensively

This love experience is so sweet

Like honey on your lips

This feeling deep inside me

Oh baby, are you craving me?

Let me feel you one more time

Oh, you are my partner in crime

This love experience is so sweet

Just one more time be all mine

Because you left the sweetest taste in my mouth

You are my silver lining this cold month

You love so fiercely

Make me feel so intensively

This love experience is so deep

Like the feelings you are giving me

This kiss good night

Oh, baby I want your love bite!

Because you left the sweetest taste in my mouth

You are my silver lining this cold month

You love so fiercely

Make me feel me intensively

Hi Magdalena and thank you for visiting my blog and for sharing your wonderful recipe. Your blog is so entertaining to read very informative. I never know spaghetti can be a sexy food. It’s definite difficult to keep the sexy image with the risk of tomato sauce spillage!

Hi, Magdalena. Thanks for visiting my blog. It’s interesting what you say about tomatoes in your spaghetti recipe. I read, years ago, that if you cook tomatoes they become poisonous. I’m not sure why but I’ve been eating them raw ever since. Could this have been the wrong information?

    1. Playcookwithme sagt:

Hi Coral! There is nice story to your question: In the late 1700s, a large percentage of Europeans feared the tomato. They called it “poison apple” because it was thought that aristocrats got sick and died after eating them, but the truth of the matter was that wealthy Europeans used pewter plates, which were high in lead content. Because tomatoes are so high in acidity, when placed on this particular tableware, the fruit would leach lead from the plate, resulting in many deaths from lead poisoning. No one made this connection between plate and poison at the time; the tomato was picked as the culprit. But I don’t think cooked tomatoes are poisonous. I eat them very often. Don’t worry and try out this recipe 🙂 Enjoy reading 🙂
